Close-up views of the details of The Mechanic.
The chunk of metal on the base? That's some dried paint that had captured a bubble, leaving this I-beam-like cross-section.
The colour of the body is a nod to construction work, and the label "KDC" is one letter removed from a company in that space.
Also, the tools are coloured as Black&Decker tools, for another nod.

Cobbled together from odd model bits and some unused scratch-built parts, with some added scratchbuilding to tie it all together.
Would count as a techmarine, or equivalent, for my personal army/collection.
A lot of fun little details on this one.
