One of my favourite things that most people don't remember is this absolutely wonderful music from the final episode of #TheClangers, entitled "Music of the Spheres". It's by Vernon Elliott, who practically became Debussy while composing for the series and has earned a place in my personal canon of amazing composers.

I've been watching #TheClangers recently, and I've noticed something: unlike the proverbial duck's quack in the erroneous urban myth, a clanger's whistle really does have NO ECHO. This is especially intriguing, since pretty much all of the other creatures in the stories echo like mad, including the Soup Dragon, the Iron Chicken, and (I believe) the Froglets.
