How do you build your plan?
I like to start with the backlight. For me the backlight shapes everything else. Then I switch between dropping in the big moments and the general, so that the generals are working along side the specials as much as possible.Then I inevitably get in the room and move stuff. Cos I'm never happy.

Thought I'd share more of my theatre costuming from a production of "Eurydice" by Sarah Ruhl, a magical piece done in a myriad of different ways.
Our Stones (whom Orpheus made cry) were earthen clowns, based on Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic rocks. The bright red period suit was also built specifically for the show.
