My youngest son, a high school history teacher up yonder here in northern Wisconsin, had this book on the dining room table when I got to his house to do the Christmas visit/dinner thing today. I told him I’d like to read it when he was through reading it; I’ve heard good things about it.

On holiday in Vienna and just discovered my son (14) has been ordering himself espressos, having never really been into coffee before.
Just caught him making another in the hotel room, at 1930hrs.
This is going to go one of two ways, and we probably won't find out which until tomorrow around lunch time.

I'm really proud of my son. He's the oldest and biggest, therefore one of the best hockey players in his league. Some of the kids on his team are 4 years younger and much smaller. He gets just as much joy (maybe more joy) assisting the puck to one of his smaller teammates so they can try to get a goal as he does getting the goal himself.
