I'm very sad that BBC Radio 4 LW will be ending soon.
No possibility of BBC Sounds outside the UK anymore, and the BBC website broadcast is rubbish. It keeps cutting out and not everything available live, even less on listen again.
Besides that, it will be a great loss to the nation, how else will people be forced to listen to the cricket? 😄 -
Going through a box of bits, came across my old BBC Radio 4 Test Match Special radio, Long Wave only. Radio still works, but will not pick up any more cricket.
When the cricket was on Long Wave, you could watch the cricket live, whilst listening to the commentary, can't do that anymore with either DAB, or internet radio.

@CosmicBlaze Well yes. I mean, #TestMatchSpecial has been available on #DAB for a long time. But I guess the people still listening on LW are mainly choleric retired colonels who think DAB is what nanny used to do to them when they spilled their nursery tea onto their bibs.
