Château des Étoiles is all mine, and was on a roll apparently because I managed to earn another 2.5 million credits in the same sitting. So I’m still a #SettledSystemsMillionaire in Universe 12 (NG+11, Level 236) even after dropping all that cash on a textbook boondoggle.
Is it worth the 5m? Not really. Especially knowing exactly what grind I’ll have to go through to get it again in every following universe. This is like the infinite mortgage all over again—but worse.
Still, it presents a new challenge mode for every universe: how early in the narrative can you get the mansion?

I got pissed off again that #TerranArmada won’t start in this universe, but instead of bailing on it completely I decided to make my way to Anchorpoint Station without being directed to by a quest and see what’s what

CW: Starfield: New Babylon (minor spoilers, expectations vs. reality)
When I first discovered #NewBabylon as everyone else in the community, by accident, while hungrily reviewing the new achievements, I honestly expected it to be the capital city of the Terrans—with all that implied.
The name alone suggested as much, an homage to New Atlantis as much as to the ancient Mesopotamian Empire. And it’s not like there wasn’t precedent. Shattered Space added Dazra to the game, after all.
There’s nothing really wrong with it, of course, it’s a whole new settlement, minor faction, and quest-line, with disturbing plot-twists and reveals, and the tough choices you’re forced with at every step.
And as for the real reason the settlement took its name? You’ll find that in the community centre that looks like a ziggurat.

A part of me wishes I hadn’t made the correct tactical and ethical choice to completely cripple the Terrans at the end of the Battle of the Unifier, instead opting for the shortsighted moral choice and resulting protracted war

Speaking of going #FullStarborn I made it all the way to the bridge of a Terran Enforcer, grabbed the black box, a new action figure, initiated self-destruct, and made it off the ship again without even initiating combat or relying on the stealth mechanic
Full-on superpower speedrun through a whole mess of very confused and terrified space-Nazis. Wild it worked so well.

#TerranArmada is non-stop action and intrigue and interstellar conspiracy which makes full use of all the new features of the #FreeLanes update in its narrative. It’s pure stimming, on every front.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a reason to go #FullStarborn on any enemy before, but now that I’m compelled to, oh my is it glorious. I’ve been wrapping all my sweet power combos in Phased Time just to savour the stunning visuals of electromagnetic and particle beam damage against a formidable robot army.
Delta irks me, of course, but that’s probably the whole point to their character.

Now that I’ve played through all the new #TrackersAlliance bounty missions, I can confidently say:
1) they were awesome!
2) I am now, unquestionably, excited for the #FreeLanes update and #TerranArmada DLCAnd as a result I realized today ^I only have until April 7th* to get my current universe ready to take full advantage of the new update and DLC!

For starters, all the features announced for Free Lanes are already available in mods on the Creation Store; but admittedly most of these features will work better as native functionality
Unfortunately, Free Lanes will definitely break all the other mods in my load order, so I’m gonna have to go back to my vanilla playthrough come April 7th
I was expecting a Starborn-themed DLC, taking the battle against psychopathic trans-dimensional entities to the next extreme of multiverse madness; but who am I kidding? #Watchtower proved that there’s always room for pitting your will against the warmachine of space-Nazis, so I’m sure Terran Armada will be fun, and the new Incursion mechanic has a lot of promise
