  2. Saw te Rā at te Puna Waiwhetū today.
    Quite incredible. A wonderful taonga that needs to sail home permanently.

    What got me was the smell. Dry, dusty. A mix of flax and hessian.

    The "collector" kept no provenance, so we don't know if was gifted, stolen or sold. We don't even know its awa.
