Every tuesday at 19:00 you can come practice your Dutch at the Taalcafe de Sering, and of course enjoy a cute dinner at the Volkskeuken.
If you’re already fluent, you can also join as a teacher, and in exchange you’ll get a free dinner and drink (paid by the students).

Yesterday, there was a storm in The Netherlands. I asked my "students" to be careful. One came with the idea to do this session online. Result? I was alone in the church, all were online and it was great to do. Next week we will try a hybride session. Some of my group went back home, but still want to learn Dutch. Vandaag in het #taalcafé waar ik #vrijwilligerswerk doe: een Russische die met haar man hier kwam maar niet meer terug kan, omdat hij dan tegen Oekraïne moet vechten, een Parisienne die voor de liefde hierheen verhuisde en nu bezig is met haar onderwijsbevoegdheid om hier juf Frans te worden en een Guatemalteekse architecte die haar Nederlandse man in New York ontmoet had.
Zo’n taalcafé is een leuke manier om je horizon te verbreden en om interessante mensen te ontmoeten.
