🏒🥅🇨🇦 Watched the Jets v Red Wings replay. My focus in watching the Jets is Stuuu Skinner. (When I was an Oilers fan, Stuuu got blamed for many things that had more to do with team leaders refusing to play responsibly than his play in net. Their lack of leadership, on the ice and off, is what decided it for me.)
Nice to see Stuuu backstop a Jets win (his WIN% with the Oilers was always overlooked, btw). Also nice to see his outstanding 5v5 numbers for the game: .955 SV% (on 22 shots against), 1.81 GSAx (goals saved above expected).
Skinner does not compare to Hellebuyck, regular season. But his WIN% in the playoffs may be a big boost to the Jets, if they make it there. I’m hoping they do 🤞
