8PSK1000 seems to store and retrieve data from an old tape using #FLdigi and #FLamp pretty well when using the #CR669. I assume any "tape player that presents as a USB sound card" will do about as well. Only 3 blocks missed out of 397 in the first round, and all 3 picked up the second round. So, just like with #hamRadio, it works best when looped so the loops can defeat signal/tape degradation and other issues.
