PSK1000RC2 in #FLdigi with #FLamp seems to store and retrieve data to/from a cassette deck pretty well. So, you can use that to store some data, I suppose. Repeat the transmission multiple times on the tape to ensure you have more chances to bypass damage, degradation, etc of the tape.
