Sending data over free radio waves with no license.
Digital modes are allowed over #FRS radio (as of 2017), without an #AmateurRadio license. Here is a test I performed, using #fldigi to decode the data.

You have done something very unusual in the current time with old hardware. I cannot say I am a fan of the work of fiction, but your technological demonstration is something I appreciate. This reminds me of my tests sending data over #AmateurRadio and decoding with #fldigi.I was once an owner of a #C64 and am impressed yours is still working!

@hamchallenge I must have heard the RTTY transmission a million times, often using it as an indicator for how long the skip is on 30m. Today I finally decoded it for the first time with fldigi, with the settings described by @ian in his blog (450Hz shift, 50 bd, 5N1). I was not patient enough to wait for an actual weather report, though. #HC20S #rtty #fldigi
