True, backups are important. One of the main reason people use cloud services is cause they think their data is safer on the cloud than their local computers.And its good to hear you do regular backups at trom.
I know that providers like #disroot, #snopyta, #nixnet etc. don't provide bitwarden, despite the fact that password management is very important. So I always assumed this was the reason behind it, that was my best guess.

Wait, are you gonna start a public instance of bitwarden ?afaik, I think yours might be the only non official instance available.
I think the reason behind this is that people/organizations are not willing to take responsibility for the protection of other's passwords. Like, if the server data got corrupted by an accident, people would be more worried about loosing their passwords than, say, loosing their friendica account. I think that's why #disroot or #snopyta doesn't have bitwarden 🤔

@favstarmafia @letterus @jerger @vilbi @qbi @stvo Sieht gut aus,aber bei der offiziellen Instanz solltest du deutlich davor warnen,dass sie diverse Drittanbieter Tracker einbindet und in der Amazon AWS Cloud gehostet ist.Bei allen anderen Instanzen ist das nicht der Fall.Ich hab das ausfuehrlich geprueft.Und eine weitere Instanz hab ich noch von #Snopyta - https://talk.snopyta.org
