Took me a while to find a balance that I feel comfortable with when using entity component systems, nodes and state-machines concurrently.
Currently updating my older implementations. Already looks cleaner and easier to add systems and features. There is no better metric to know that you learned something 😃
And as usual there are a million ways - just need to find the one that works for you.

I bought a refurbished HP Probook x360 435 G8 Touch (2-in-1) Ryzen 5 5600U with an active pen for 299€.
Booted it into #linuxmint using the live image. Everything works including the touchscreen and pen.
I did some research beforehand and it turns out that this is comparable in performance to a #steamdeck - my benchmark device.
The perfect development and testmachine for my #godot game #slyceverse. Also doubles as graphics tablet.
Next: full mint install 😃

Today I created a little simulation for the propperty collection that powers my entities. Properties like "HP, Damage, Armor, Speed, etc."
Leveling up, gaining items, skills or being afflicted by an attack means changing and modifying properties.
All modifications and their source are stored and the results calculated when needed. The video shows a property collection with ~72.000 modifiers. Everything works as expected. Yeah!

Finally done (for now) with the logo for my game Slyceverse Survivors.
Took me a week of pixeling to get it the way I wanted.
I heavily used pixelorama with layers and layer effects. Wouldn't have completed the logo without it.
