  1. Wow, I just realized, that you can wire #JetBrains #CLion, #avr-gdb and #simavr together to debug your code on a simulated AVR microcontroller, with all the fancy features. You can set breakpoints, step in and out of functions, inspect variables and even inspect peripheral registers right from the IDE! How cool is that?

Setting this up end-to-end might worth writing a blog post 🤔

(Sadly, the memory corruption bug I'm after still getting away...)

  3. Not everyday that this #opensource maintainer get nice emails like this! #simavr #arduino

Hi Michael (and other maintainers of SimAVR),

***I wanted to express my utmost gratitude for your work on SimAVR. It’s an amazing piece of software to be made freely available, and it really saved my ass this past weekend when I had to quickly develop a custom bootloader for an ATmega128 without having any access to hardware, for an academic team I work with.***

  8. Some "lab" is requesting canonical #ubuntu to register a pair of bugs in #simavr as CVEs. Because apparently, it is similar to QEMU -- #lol --
Are they being paid for that sort of stuff?

  13. Mind blown by the fact #libmui reached over 300 stars on github. Probably took 5+ years for #simavr to reach that level. I thought i was making a tiny niche toy and #boom!
