No. 823-824, salt and pepper shakers
Greenware at this point. They still need to be bisqued, then glazed and high fired, cone 10.
I am thinking shino, but then shino is my go-to. So maybe I need to branch out and try something else. ....But shino is so beautiful, no matter how I mess it up. -
Tea bowl no. 790, front/back
Shino glaze over colored slip on amador stoneware, 4.25"w x 3"h -
I forgot I had made this blate (bowl-plate hybrid) until I found it while sorting through old boxes of my ceramics.
It was one of my very first pieces that I made in the studio that I'm working in now, back in early 2021.
Pottery specs: Wheel thrown then hand carved stoneware. Clay is Laguna Soldate 60. Fired Cone 10 reduction. Glaze is an American shino style glaze called Randy's Shino.
