My most controversial opinion is that I 100% genuinely and unironically love the #StarWars #sequeltrilogy. #TLJ is my favorite; #TROS is my most rewatched for the #Rey content and #Reylo duels; #TFA is my least favorite tbh but it's good fun. I think if Carrie hadn't died TROS would probably have ended up as my GOAT Star Wars movie. I've not read the extended novelization yet but I really want to.

A long video, but painfully accurate. I still mourn the potential of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy vs. what we got. The Sequel Trilogy is dead to me.
(Equally sad is how Disney/Lucasfilm is now trying to retcon/repair/salvage these films using The Mandalorian. It’s heartbreaking 💔)

@thelinuxEXP @neobscura @rcarmo Yeah, I never understood the hate for the #PrequelTrilogy … I thought they were fantastic. I’m saying that though, I grew up watching #StarWars in the #80s and the Prequel Trilogy was made by the same guy, so it’s not all that surprising. I’m not a fan of the #SequelTrilogy at all, but I did enjoy #RogueOne and #TheMandalorian ; #TheBookofBobaFett had its good moments, but was mostly “meh”.
