Many times I have chosen not to express my feelings when I disagreed upon something or was upset. I also over-extended myself to help everyone when what I need at the time is rest, self-care and silence. Saying yes when I wanted to say no.
I thought, I was being kind.
But… is it really kindness or is it self-abandonment?
