Wow.
"We know what the Jews of European countries experienced in the Holocaust" — this from a Likud activist, as part of his "apology" for wishing a second #Holocaust on #Ashkenazi #Jews.
The #Sefaradim experienced terrible discrimination and #racism by the Ashkenazi ruling elite in the formative years of the state. This remains a shameful black mark on the nation.
But this is the first time I've ever heard any Jew distance themselves from the #Shoah, suggesting it happened to "them", not to "us". And this in an apology arising from wishing it upon European Jews again!
