This week's #KPopMonday theme is #SecondLook: songs or music videos that had to grow on you.
And last, but never least, we've got SHINee with Hard. Nowadays, we love it! Such a sick beat, and the whispering reminds me of some old school Snoop Dogg. But, we weren't really sure what to think at first! It just keeps jumping back and forth.

The 7th Sense by NCT U is all over the place! We had no idea what to think of it when we first heard it. There's kind of a chorus, but not really, and it's just constantly changing. Well... as per this week's theme. It grew on us!

As someone who came to #kpop recently, and somewhat late in life, I don't have years of listening history to look back to. I started out throwing together playlists of groups I learned about. Red Velvet appeared in my early playlists, but I did not really click with them. Lately I've been appreciating them more and more, so in that spirit I'm offering the following for #kpopmonday.

Earlier this year IVE released "Bang Bang". It did not initially appeal to me, so I did not put it on any of my playlists.
However, at the Korean corn dog establishment that I frequent, that introductory western guitar twang comes on every time I sit down with my potato hot dog.
Although I still don't love it, it's definitely grown on me: BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG...the repeated exposure effect.
