I’ll probably torch myself now, given the hashtags I’m using, but I’ll say it anyway.

I recognize that Quinn Hughes is a young franchise player and, most likely, a future HOFer… BUT…. *Here it goes*

Can he just once, for the love of God, receive a pass on the point and hit the open seam directly without dangling and twirling, looking for his shot for 2-3 seconds while the D recovers and the lanes are closed down. He has open all-star canons on both wings. It’s f—-ing annoying. 😤

I am really looking forward to this all-Canadian affair between #Vancouver and #Edmonton!
Both teams have really potent PPs, so I expect that staying out of the penalty box will be a focus for either side.
With that said, I am curious to see how the #Canucks 4th line will interact wth Kane and the other #Oilers. It seems as if that is where one goes to draw penalites, and that is to me a more intriguing game in the game then the obvious convo about McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH, Miller, Pettersson, Hughes, etc.

I won’t deny that #Lasvegas disappointed me [a lot] in this series. I really don’t know what they were doing with that puck given how they’re built as a team. However, kudos to #Dallas for coming back from losing the two first home games, rolling on 5 D’s and still outskating Las Vegas.
I believe #Colorado is the better team in this next round, but time will tell. I was obviously wrong about the Vegas series.

Anson Carter asks, “What happened to the Jets’ defense?” on #NHLonTNT.
… I mean no offense to Jets’ fans, but Colorado wrapped up the regular season and stormed into the #SCPlayoffs pretty stinking good.
I think the Avs is and will be a tall order for anyone, and I wouldn’t be shocked if they’re hoisting the Cup in the end.
