The students are showing us the way, organising themselves where they are against conscription and the wars of the rich.
We, as social workers, know too that military build-up and imperialist wars are not in our interests!
Because it’s not worth dying for a system that, in the name of ‘war readiness’, simply cuts social work and support for the most marginalised sections of society.

The German government is implementing its rearmament programme and wants to conscript hundreds of thousands of young people as soldiers.
The aim is to turn Germany into a military superpower so that it can assert its own interests around the world.
This means that we are expected to fight against young people from other countries in the interests of the German state.
In other European countries too, such as Italy, France and Portugal, young people are taking to the streets to fight against the rearmament of Europe.
We must fight together against war and militarisation everywhere in the world. That is why we are organising an internationalist rally on 8 May at 10.30 am at Halleschen Tor.

School networking
The next school strike is only 23 days away.
To make it a real success, we want to get to know each other better as students from the East on 15 February and prepare for the strike together.
The youth are networking!
As young people, we will not stand by and watch as politicians once again make decisions against our interests over our heads.
To counter this, we will network, organise and strike.
We will show you what rights you have as students and how you can refuse. Food will be provided.
So come along in large numbers and bring your friends.
