  5. For edition humboldt digital (ehd, edition-humboldt.de), I've today at #DayOfDH2024 finished the “Nearby places” function for the index of places.

What does the function do? For a place in the index, not only the place itself is marked in a map, but also all other places from the index within a radius of 30 km.

It will be uploaded to the project's internal website tomorrow - the public will be able to use it with the new version of ehd next summer.
