We had a great time recceing the venue for our Euro-CSDMS workshop at Rydal Hall on Friday. It is a creativity inspiring space, which is just what we need for our workshop, when we will attempt to envision the future of environmental modelling.

A comfortable chair (greetings to all in the #POANG club) and my laptop. Or a first class seat on a train (for the elbow room, not the free food).
But actually this came close… the magic ingredient being what you can’t see, the sound of a fountain in the garden outside.
