Let‘s get ready to rumble! I finished (except for varnish) the last wrestler from the Rumbleslam starter set. The Heavy Pounders ogre is now done. After looking again at the photos of the airbrush stage, I realized I overdid the highlights. So I went in with some red ink and sunny skin tone again and made them smaller in places. After the primer mishap I got inspired for a certain style, that I want my Rumbleslam ogre to be. So I will deviate from the box art and I‘ll make him a Japanese red ogre (Oni). Today I learned why you should wash resin minis before priming. Luckily it was just as I was trying to do a zenithal. My Rumbleslam ogre came apart. The troll for Rumbleslam is almost finished. I shaded and drybrushed a little more and am now quite happy with his skin and all. And to finish off the base coloring, I mixed in a little white step for step to lighten the sky blue for the crystals on his back. A little progress from last nights batch painting session with the „green bruisers“. The orc grappler was basecolored green beforehand directly on the black primer. The other greenskins I did a base of skeleton bone, before going in with the greenskin. (Saw it in an Artis Opus video for orc skin) Then I colored their leotards in basilisk red. Finally finished my Forest Soul #Rumbleslam ring!

I started with this kit of laser cut 3mm MDF https://ttcombat.com/products/rumbleslam-rookie-ring

I covered the play surface with clay tiles formed with a 3d-printed mold and mortared with plaster of Paris.

Emblems are 3d prints derived from an SVG I found online. Turnbuckles are tree trunk STLs I rescaled and cut notches into. Ropes are faux leather cord. Base color is a chalk paint.
