On the road 🚙
Home from Edinburgh last night & today involves a 600km drive from Heidelberg to Noordwijk, which I’m halfway through.
Heading to ESA’s #ESTEC for an event tomorrow celebrating the tenth anniversary of the landing of Philae on Comet 67P/C-G, one of many highlights of the iconic Rosetta mission.
Will be good to see many friends & colleagues again, & the bike is in the car, so weather permitting, I’ll get some flatland cycling in too 🚴♂️👍

Rewatching S1 of #TheExpanse from 2016 & am further reminded how obviously influenced the production team was by Rosetta’s adventures at Comet 67P/C-G over the preceding two years 🙂👍
What goes around comes around though, as at #SpaceRocks, we’ve since worked with Dominique Tipper, Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, & the writers, James SA Corey 🙂

On Dec 7 the full set of OSIRIS images (56 TB!) was again delivered to ESA's Planetary Science Archive. No new images but substantially improved scientific calibration and new derived products. The Rosetta OSIRIS scientific imaging system's legacy of its voyage to comet #67P onboard the ESA Rosetta mission.
It will now be ingested into the public archive for everyone to use. Looking forward to what you will make out of it.
