Who *didn't* shout when they heard the Secret Word during the rest of the day? At the Dragnet movie in a crowded theater we both yelled really loud when a character said the word. Then someone a few rows ahead burst out laughing and said they didn't know the word. #RIPPeeWee

One more #PeeWeeHerman story: When I was in high school, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure was not an old movie. Also, I was a cheerleader all four years (not one of the popular kids mind you, but we didn't have a dance team). Our pep band decided to play "Tequila" at basketball games. Since I came up with most of the routines for the pep band songs, I made the whole squad (all "popular" girls + me) stand at half court and do The Dance. It's among my finest moments. #RIPPaulReubens #RIPPeeWee

I really love Pee-Wee Herman. As a kid I watched the show, ate the cereal, wore the watch, colored and baked the Shrinky Dinks, and even tried to wear out the VHS copy of The Pee-Wee Herman Show at my video store. He was such a magnificent weirdo. I still have my action figures somewhere.
