Weekend project: Swapping my 6-year-old UPS batteries.
My UPS unexpectedly shut down after just a few minutes without power. After some research, I discovered it was a battery issue.I order generic replacement batteries for 83CAD vs 220CAD for a new UPS. Replacing the batteries was simple except for one tricky cable.
Now, it runs smoothly, saving money and reducing my CO2 footprint in under an hour with just a screwdriver.
