I'm looking for a :linux: #Linux image viewer that maintains the zoom level and region while skipping through a glob of images with the arrow or PgUp/PgDown keys.

I have tried (on :nixos: #NixOS):

❌ #ristretto
❌ #gthumb
❌ #viewnior
❌ #geeqie
❌ #qview (broken)
🫤 #sxiv (works in slideshow mode, resest zoom when skipping manually 🙄)
✅ #gwenview (+changed settings&keybindings)
✅ #feh --keep-zoom-vp works

So I started to notice #Windows saving stuff that I do, like screenshots, when I didn't expect it. So I've decided to try to not use default Windows apps to do most things.

The first thing I changed was the Windows #image viewer. Swapped over to #qView - faster and simpler than Windows Photo Viewer while still being able to easily arrow key through images AND being Open Source? OK.

Ahora que recién se ha lanzado la versión 2.0 de #qView, puede ser un buen momento para probar este visor de imágenes, en nuestro sistemas #Gnu #Linux.
