We're in our 4th week of our #PyOhiothon #fundraiser, and we'd like to take a few moments to talk about the price of #conference tickets. 🎟️
You can donate to #PyOhio here: https://pyohio.org/donateMost annual conferences get a large portion of their revenue through ticket sales - this helps pay for the venue, catering, swag, etc. Costs can vary *significantly* based on size and location, and thus, conferences charge for tickets based on what the intended _audience_ is.

Week 1 of our #PyOhiothon #fundraiser ended with $826 in donations. With our matching sponsor, that donation counts double, for a grand total of $1652 in just 7 days! 🤩
