  10. @pyohio I'm going strong on my daily creative coding sketches, I usually do them with Python and the #py5 library, and this year it has been all smooth sailing: abav.lugaralgum.com/sketch-a-d

Also some #geopandas, #OSMnx and #Folium fun at our local hackerspace here in São Paulo #GaroaHackerClube. I've heard that PyOhio is one of the most welcoming US regional conferences, maybe one day I get the chance to join you :)

  12. I referenced PEP Talk in my keynote yesterday.
The PEP process is an integral part of Core Python development. A majority of discussions among core devs are about PEPs. So if you want to start contributing to Python, you'll need to learn about PEPs.

I have two versions of this talk!

  16. We're almost there! Pyodios is in App Store review for #iOS. #Python (via #Pyodide) on your iPhone and iPad with matplotlib bundled. Soon you can write notebooks at the coffee shop and plot on the train.

    While you wait: pyodios.caffeinatedmath.com

  17. Small update on the python-on-iOS front: the unnamed notebook app now has a name -- Pyodios -- and a new trick.

Swap between a local Pyodide kernel and a remote Jupyter backend mid-session. Want offline? Stay local. Want GPU? Call home. No drama either way.
