A mildly sacrilegious psalm-based poem:

On a sleepless night,
I'm counting sheep
but keep losing count.

I'm not a good shepherd:
I don't know my sheep,
and they don't know me.

As Psalm 22 suggests,
I could count my bones instead
but I don't know how many I have.

If I had an exam in the morning,
whether in agriculture or anatomy,
I'd have failed it.

And I don't need to ask
why have you forsaken me.
It's perfectly clear:

It's very annoying
to sleep
next to someone like me.

I know with #PHP static analyzers I can annotate that something is a `numeric-string`, but this also allows floats. Is there a way to say “this string is an integer string?”

I muse: how conservative Christians don't seem to argue, on the basis of #Psalm 90:10, that human lives should be terminated at age 80.
Now I'm not arguing they should be, but the text does make a basis for it which is stronger than for many of the positions they hold and claim are biblical.

I kind of envy the java world. They have the alternatives on the IDE landscape and also the static analysis that are built-in are way better. In #php we still get #phpstan #psalm that do excelent job, but there are some corner scenarios that "the other kids toys" are better.
