  1. These campaigns against #harassment are now running in the #publictransport in #UK & #France. The difference couldn't be more striking.
    A) 🇬🇧 calling a spade a spade. 🇫🇷 would rather go German than say the words "sexual offences" or god forbid, #hatecrime (for the 🇫🇷 readers it's #protectedcharacteristics incl. #race & #religion )
    B) 🇬🇧 suggests direct intervention if it is safe & gives ideas how to do so. 🇫🇷 is tapping into the very 🇫🇷 spirit of (cowardly) denunciation & no tall poppy.

    — The #criteria for applying #hatecrime #enhancements should not be limited to instances where a #crime is solely motivated by #ProtectedCharacteristics. Instead, #enhancements should be applied even when such #characteristics are merely a #contributingfactor to the #crime.

    Meta made over $1.6M from ads for #DailyWire’s heinous #antitrans film…clips appear to be a violation of Meta’s policies against #hatespeech, which prohibit “mocking people on the basis of their #ProtectedCharacteristics" including “#genderidentity”…the latest in a series of #antitrans projects and rhetoric from The #DailyWire in the last few years…the outlet spent over $5.7M on #Meta ads amplifying anti-trans content and rhetoric between June 2018 and March 2023.
