  1. Now that it has had a couple of days to acclimate to the NJ climate, I gave the new toy a partial setup (kept the old strings on) to get the action and intonation fixed.

    This will likely never be my daily driver, but I definitely have time for a basic, old-style #PrecisionBass. It’s a #Squier with a color scheme that’s exclusive to Guitar Center. Supposed to be Sonic Blue, but to me it looks more like Crest Green.
    Love the matching headstock! Very pretty bass.

  5. Born this day in 1909 Leo Fender. Founder of Fender Musical Instruments. In 1950 the company released the Esquire, a thin body, fast neck electric that wouldn't feedback when played at volume of dance halls. Adding a second pick-up in '51 we had the Broadcaster which became the Telecaster. Still one of the most popular electric guitars for any genre.
