  6. It's only taken a few years I've finally paid for Chuzzle2. The ads were too much and I've been playing it for so long now that I'm not giving it up!

    I ended up in a game-over situation as I refused to use the helper charms, but thankfully all the little pet Chuzzles in my 'Chuzzarium' remained and actually it's nice to go back to easy games and easy wins again...

    I remember Bejeweled first turning up when I was a university fresher. Addictive.

  7. I love it when the community does what the #developers / #publishers of #software / #games won't.
    Here's an example I ran into last night while figuring out why #Popcap / #EA's #Bejeweled3 claimed I didn't have enough video memory: github.com/cheez3d/popcap-patc

    #Cheez3d for example patched the executables to remove the signature, memory and hardware acceleration checks.

    A better solution ended up being to drop in the #DirectDraw DLL ddraw.dll from the #WineD3D project though:
