    Facing a $349M deficit (or double that if you include the uncollected carbon levy) Saskatchewan is full steam ahead on coal with a plan to spend close to a billion dollars on refurbishing coal.

    They’ve ruled out converting to gas (not much better), or even mentioning solar or wind for…reasons? Energy security?

    Read my update on the SaskPower plan to burn more coal despite it being the dirtiest fossil fuel.
