>> Oltre 1.150 professionisti e organizzazioni sanitarie hanno lanciato il 13 giugno una petizione per il boicottaggio dell’Associazione medica israeliana (IMA), accusandola di non rispettare l’etica medica e di dimostrare “complicità” nel genocidio dei palestinesi a Gaza.
L’iniziativa è guidata dal People’s Health Movement (PHM), da Medici per Gaza e dal Consiglio consultivo sanitario del gruppo Jewish Voice for Peace.
Le organizzazioni chiedono all’Associazione Medica Mondiale (WMA) di interrompere l’adesione all’IMA per il suo silenzio sulla sistematica distruzione delle infrastrutture sanitarie da parte di Israele e sull’uccisione, il rapimento e la tortura di medici, infermieri e soccorritori palestinesi.
La petizione è stata pubblicata anche su The Lancet, la rivista medica più prestigiosa al mondo. <<[…]

CW: Project Hail Mary
A very good adaptation of the book. Simplified in the right places; kept the science but made it more accessible, and emphasized the relationship. Less overall peril than I expected, and humorous too.
Lord and Miller also visually really have a style of shot composition that feels comics-inspired by their Spiderverse work. #phm

Na celým tom humoru s #PHM mi vlastně nejvíc vadí to, že v tržní ekonomice nenecháme ceny prostě na pokoji, ať to vyřeší #trh.
Jakej má smysl to všechno dotovat z daní, když se dá zdraženej #benzín a #nafta platit z peněženky rovnou? Proč to musí dotovat daňovej poplatník?
Vždyť přeci těma autama nad nějakou korunu lidi jezdit přestanou, respektive ty #auta najednou nebudou jezdit prázdný - sníží se spotřeba PHM a tím půjde cena zase zpět dolů. Nebo mi něco uniká?
Tahle #politika je mi taková nějaká cizí.

For anyone else seeing this thread: if you think you might go see it but you haven't watched any trailers, I'd recommend don't watch them. Just go into it with no expectations. The trailers give away a pretty big twist that was a big surprise in the book. #ProjectHailMary #PHM #AndyWeir

Today I kind of begrudgingly went to check on some of my commission sales. I enjoy my relationships with record stores, I just hate feeling like I'm checking up on them sometimes.
Anyway, as I park the car and get out of it, someone in a wheelchair, going straight down the one-way street in the wrong direction, whizzes past and shouts the "I wanna f@¢ꓘ you like an animal!" line from #NIN - Closer at me.
There's no way they could know that I was there to ask about my #tribute, #PrettyEightMachine, but that's what I was there for.
