The IRGC announce they are closing the Strait of Hormuz completely, and that all ships will be attacked.
According to a report from Axios, a US official has confirmed that the rules of engagement for American forces in the region have been changed. US forces are now authorized to strike "immediate threats" against ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, including IRGC fast attack craft or Iranian missile positions.
