Evacuation Orders reduced to Evacuation Warnings

The following Evacuation Order areas have been reduced to Evacuation Warnings and are open to residents only. Residents will need to show identification to enter the areas

The Hunters Valley Area is now under an evacuation order per the Mariposa County evacuation map & the Sheriff's Facebook post. Additionally the fire is now 7% contained per CAL FIRE.

The American Red Cross has opened an evacuation shelter for evacuees affected by the Pedro Fire in Mariposa and Tuolumne Counties.

Shelter Location: New Life Christian Fellowship (5089 Cole Rd, Mariposa, CA 95338)

Red Cross volunteers will provide safe shelter, water and additional resources to evacuees displaced by the fire.

Small pets are welcome at the shelter and bringing carriers, food and supplies are encouraged.

Red Cross shelters are open to everyone in need, regardless of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation or citizenship status. All disaster assistance is free…
