It will be a little cooler today, but then summer warmth returns for the I-25 Corridor for Sunday. Only isolated showers and storms can be expected both days, but coverage will begin to increase in the mountains Sunday. Scattered showers and storms most days in the week ahead, with the highest coverage Tuesday through Thursday. It will also turn cooler with a taste of fall by Tuesday. -

Another warm, summer-like day can be expected with high temperatures reaching 90F or better across most of the plains and I-25 Corridor. Only an isolated high base shower or weak storm is possible, with the main threat being gusty outflow winds to around 40 mph.We finally see cooler and more autumn-like weather arriving by next Tuesday. While we can't promise the cooler weather will stick around for the rest of September,

Mostly sunny skies are expected over the next few days. Temperatures should warm into the low 90s on Friday, before a cold front drops temperatures back into the mid 80s on Saturday. It was a great, cold two days out skiing with the Scout troop this weekend (Troop 78 in #Boulder, for those keeping track). I didn't take too many pictures because I was busy getting very tired indeed. But I got this one which at least shows what a proper mid-December bluebird day looks like in #Colorado. #COWX #winterpark #maryjane
