Another warm, summer-like day can be expected with high temperatures reaching 90F or better across most of the plains and I-25 Corridor. Only an isolated high base shower or weak storm is possible, with the main threat being gusty outflow winds to around 40 mph.We finally see cooler and more autumn-like weather arriving by next Tuesday. Mostly sunny skies are expected over the next few days. Temperatures should warm into the low 90s on Friday, before a cold front drops temperatures back into the mid 80s on Saturday. Much warmer temperatures are forecast again on Sunday. A cooling trend is expected next week, along with a return of scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. -
