We all know the story. Adam and Eve (PBUT) were in heaven living in peace. They were allowed to eat everything on heaven, except from one tree. But they made the mistake and eventually ate from that tree. Afterwards, the Creator threw them out of the heaven. But who actually made them do it? Did they decide to eat from that tree on their own? Or someone else suggested it to them?

The answer is clear and everyone knows it. (a) The Devil suggested it.

Another important point, if the Devil wasn’t there they wouldn’t have done it. So (b) the Devil caused them to do that mistake.

And the result? (c) It caused them to lose their place in Heaven and the peace they had there.

Suggestion -> Mistake -> Punishment… the same cycle continues even today. Even if people don’t realize, the Devil is constantly giving us ideas in the background. A killer wouldn’t kill if the Devil didn’t exist. Think about it for a moment. Nobody would kill.

The Devil that is telling people to lie, to dress in revealing clothes; that same Devil tells a killer to kill, a rapist to rape. Don’t you think people should be worried?

You’ll see in lots of societies that people are rich, have achieved everything, yet they’re not happy, not in peace. How’s that possible? Isn’t money = happiness = peace? But that isn’t the reality. In those societies you’ll see that people don’t pray and commit all kinds of sins. This way the Devil took away their peace. We don’t realize it until we lose it.

Ask the one and only (Bible, Quran) Creator who we cannot see (Bible, Quran) for forgiveness and ask Him to keep you away from the suggestions of the Devil. Today the things you might think is innocent, might turn out to be a sin that can stop you from getting into Heaven.
