  1. Doubt this goes well.

  2. After those seven, the #PatrullerosSSB :patrulleros: actually broke from their former philosophy: San Sebastián has neglected fielding, and sometimes pitching, in favor of building a power offense with a lot of whiff-or-murder batsmen.

    René Joglar is something new.

Not only is he a good bat and good baserunner, but he's one of the slickest fielders in Hostos, keeping pace with Irizarry and Estrada. La Tropa has a vacuum at short, and surprisingly, knows how to use him.

  3. Early morning game today, as the #BrujosGUM :brujos: go for streak win #28 against the calescent #PatrullerosSSB :patrulleros:, who have SS René "Residente" Joglar, 1B Natanael Juárez, C Juan Domínguez, 2B César Rodríguez, and RF Édgar Avina in a stacked lineup.

  4. CW: :lnp: preseason predictions (LH)

    LH Noroeste:
No shock here—the #PatrullerosSSB :patrulleros: got a huge shot in the arm from SS René Joglar and C Juan Domínguez, but they gave up a lot, too, limiting them to wild card potential. The #PiratasQUE :piratas:, led by Luis "Empanada" Soler, probably take the banner again.

  5. RENÉ JOGLAR (#5/100) (SP, #PatrullerosSSB :patrulleros:)

Residente is in prime position to be the man every pitcher in the :lnp: hates facing first. While he doesn't draw many walks and doesn't go for extras, in an era where the other team helps you get on base, he's unstoppable.

Remains to be seen whether that .303 average shows up in the regular season, but we wouldn't be shocked if Joglar challenged Marxuach's stolen base campaign AND López's freshly-set run record.

  7. René "Residente" Joglar's (#PatrullerosSSB :patrulleros:) contact rating skyrocketed from the 30s to 79 between November and March, and now he's ranked as the 14th-best SS in the league.

In 16 games, he's struck out once, and is currently 3rd in LNP for stolen bases. Prototypical leadoff hitter stuff.

  8. Forgot to mention—that makes it eight straight for the Poderosos.

That's the LNP's longest current win streak, and makes them one of four clubs to be 8-1 in the Primaverales. The other three are:

    - #MarcianosLAJ :marcianos:
    - #PatrullerosSSB :patrulleros:
    - #PlatanerosCOR :plataneros:
