Cosmic disorder (?)
Looks like the "very light" regions have some hue shift (from blue to neutral), not sure if it's due to precision or nature of the colors... Maybe it's the nature of the "lift" feature of OurPaint pigment implementation.

I have clarified the structure of this thing in my head now...
Overall issues:
- This doesn't handle the bending moment of the top section from in and out of screen direction. (Situation can be improved with longer screws)
- Front barrel installment felt a bit more complex
- aux blaster structure and pipe holder structure unclear -
Further progress on the forebody and scopes
Problem is that the upper front section will still have the tendency to bend downwards, and I still think I need the nylon to be quite thick in a lot of regions (not accurately depicted on image)

Progress on the middle body. I made the slot very close to the split line I need to make that part extra thick :(
Very minimal gap between the tube and the power line, need to check in 3d whether this works, because the planned wire hole will go past that thin piece of material

Continuation of the modeling project where I am actually modeling...
Kinda figured out the structure of the rear two parts... Due to a giant solenoid in the middle, it's hard to make optimal connection structure... But maybe the rest of the part can be easier

Today I was blocking out the scopes, this initially had a PVS-27 style night vision booster scope in front, but it kinda made the shape a bit hard to read in the end, so I ditched this option, and went with a "combined reflex" look in the top of the thread.

I think I have tuned the new all in one gouache brush for pigment canvas pretty well. I like the texture and the final look of it very much.

REAL Pigment model is one where if your paints are too dense, it will become dark because of the absorption

Our Paint v0.4 is released!
Bundled with a lot of stability/usability improvement, definitely worth trying out :D

New interface theme chooser is being worked on :D
Layout alignment is much better compared to old implementation.

Spent "some" time simplifying margin/padding calculations for laGUI widgets. The layout is slightly changed but I kinda like the end result :D Also, scrolling behaviour is solidified.
Other improvements including UI list scissor and event rejection based on list borders... Getting closer to next release :D

I have finally made the icon for Our Paint on Android 😄 it's getting closer to becoming a real app

@chengdulittlea could start testing to port #OurPaint to Risc-V and ARM processors, it could be a project for the coming year, and also you have the major producers of these processors at home. 😆

was doing grocery, and I tried to install #OurPaint on one of the huawei pad in the market, and it runs so well almost like desktop grade :O
Downside is that the pen doesn't have buttons so I guess I need to support more gestures :(
