I want to implement content warning lists for audience with triggers, considering it’s a very niche hobby and lists like those aren’t really readily accessible. (Fortunately I do enjoy darker content so I use this shitty super power to help others, I guess.)

Apart from that I’ll also be doing reviews of mainly Japanese Otome titles I’ve played and I’m trying to focus on those that have been picked up for localisation into english, so people can get a feeling for the games before making a decision to buy.

I am so sad, MLQC is shutting down

I've played it briefly during the pandemic, and the story was very great (although I do think it is a bit over the top lol). Gavin was my favorite alongside Kiro. The game wasn't the best but good enough for players like me to like and get attached to the characters

It was very obvious that it wouldn't get as much money as it did before LADS. But to the point of closing down? That was a surprise. I hope my fellow players can grieve, because I've been there many times 🫂

Apparently #Rejet has finally decided to pick up the long awaited #ドリコの図書艦 (Dorico no Toshokan/Dorico’s Library)
The game had been announced almost 10 years ago for PSVita… and then rejet ghosted us about it, effectively. Today at a presentation at RejetFes they announced that the game will finally be coming! (For both #steam and #nintendoswitch )

Like most Rejet titles, it’ll be Japanese only. But I’m super excited the company finally seems to be back on track porting their old works to switch (black wolves saga, Alice=Alice,…)

Staff: there seems to be no staff changes from what I can pinpoint. the art will be provided by Yoshinaga, scenario will be written by Nakayama Satomi (Shuuen no Virche, Code:Realize, Mistonia no Kibou…).

It’s a really gripping tale so far. The (kind of?) almost kinetic style of the game is a very interesting take if you’re used to your standard otomate title. Opens up a lot of different ways to go about storytelling and connections between the characters. I also love that they don’t mindlessly gloss over the cruelty of mafia. I have some gripes with this game but I’m really looking forward to writing my review on this one soon! Amulit has been popping off recently with their console titles, I’m really excited about sins of Kaleido, too.
