Was able to snag some anime soundtracks, City Pop and Showa Idol CDs and vinyls, some light novel volumes at 40% off, and some anime figures.

I stumbled upon a convention here in Washington DC called OTAKON, "A celebration of Asian popular culture".

It's apparently a really big deal. Lots & I mean, LOTS of cosplay. We showed up just in time for the pre-party I guess where they had audience participation sumo wrestling. 🤷
