நெருங்கிய பதிப்பு என்பது திமிரியாசேவின் தாவரத்தின் வாழ்க்கை என்னும் தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்ப்பாகும். இந்த மொழிபெயர்ப்பு தோத்தாத்திரு மூலம் செய்யப்பட்டு, 1912 ஆம் ஆண்டு லண்டனில் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. பேராசிரியர் அ. என். பெகேதோவின் புத்தக விமர்சனம் மற்றும் இரண்டாம், மூன்றாம், நான்காம், ஐந்தாம், ஆறாம், ஏழாம், எட்டாம் மற்றும் ஒன்பதாம் ரஷிய பதிப்புகளுக்கான முன்னுரைகள் பூ. சோமசுந்தரம் மூலம் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்ப்பு, திமிரியாசேவின் படைப்புகளின் (மாஸ்கோ, 1938) IV தொகுதியிலுள்ள ரஷிய மொழி உரையை சரிபார்த்து, அதனுடன் தொடர்புடைய மாற்றங்கள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளன.
