A Redmi Note on #OpenBazaar denominated in BTC costs $210 today, $198 tomorrow, possibly $230.

Then, I buy BTC on Uphold and try to send it to Haven wallet but the minute I type OTP code to authorize transaction, the price of BTC changes and it won't cover transaction fee 🤦‍♂️

Who would even buy anything this way? It's like paying for goods with oil futures or Apple shares... 🤦‍♂️

Once again, I have to ask.

I've learned my lesson from trying to buy stuff on the decentralized marketplace of #OpenBazaar. Instead of buying the crypto that seems to have inherent value, #ETH, use the coin that people actually use, #BTC or #BCH.

Currently syncing the @particl #blockchain via their desktop client. Hoping the marketplace offers more than #OpenBazaar. We really need a decentralised, private alternative to #eBay! #privacy #decentralisation #cryptocurrency #crypto

@freddyym Yeah I've seen this around. I already use #OpenBazaar, which is similar. Have you used @particl yourself? Not sure how it compares to OpenBazaar.

What happened to #OpenBazaar #bitcoin marketplace? Still exists? 🤔

#OpenBazaar got a shout out too in the EU Parliament...

@sage My heuristic for judging "decentralized applications" is that if they have their own coin, I don't touch them. That includes #StorJ, #Brave Browser and d.tube apparently. Allmost all of such projects can be easily built on top of #Lightning. #OpenBazaar seems to be one of the few that understood that.

Haven запустили /не #opensource / приложение делающее возможным использование площадки OpenBazaar с телефонов. Помимо самого рынка, в наличии чат, общая лента, кошелёк и возможность создавать/редактировать аккаунт и товары.
