@DavidGoldfield @brian @douglawlor @serichsen @mcourcel Although, I have had issues with my #eth hen, Focus are mz preferred display because of the controls, so I hope they haven't changed those too much. My problems were not with the cells, but one of the navrockers.

ну стейкінг ETH після Shanghai став прозорішим, але по факту ті самі 3-4% річних перетворюються на 2-2.5 після комісій валідатора і податків. якщо тримаєш на біржі - там ще зрізають за зручність. в рекламі люблять малювати брутто, а нетто вилазить зовсім інакше. я особисто для себе вирішила, що для пасивного доходу краще просто тримати і продавати на хвилях, ніж блокувати ліквідність за таку маржу.

Der Studie zufolge steigen die globalen Treibhausgasemissionen zwar nicht mehr so schnell wie in den 2000er Jahren, sie nehmen aber nach wie vor zu. Die Menschheit sei sehr weit davon entfernt, sich „jetzt auf einem abnehmenden Pfad zu befinden“, sagt Mitautorin Sonia Seneviratne von der #ETH Zürich. Das sei „schwierig zu verstehen, wenn wir wissen, dass das Pariser Abkommen 2015 beschlossen wurde“, sagt sie.
Für den #IGCC-Bericht haben mehr als 70 Forschende über 40 Datensätze ausgewertet, unter anderem #Satellitenbilder und eine Reihe von #Messdaten, insbesondere von #Wetterstationen, Schiffen und #Wetterballons. Wegen Mittelkürzungen sind allerdings viele der genutzten Satelliten- und Erdbeobachtungsprogramme in Gefahr, insbesondere in den USA.

Impressionen von #Sonntagsspaziergang im mir eher unbekannten #Zürich-Affoltern. Unterhalb des #ETH-Komplexes gibt es ausgedehnte Bebauungen in #Gartenstadt-Typologie, deren Zustand nahelegen, dass hier wohl Bebauungsplanungen unterwegs sind, wie sich mit ein wenig Recherche schnell bestätigt.

another day, another $300 million #crypto hack (probably directly into #NorthKorea's nuclear weapons coffers). this time it's something called #KelpDAO.
There's a few interesting parts here:
1. KelpDAO operates through #Aave, the biggest / most important lender in "decentralized finance" (#defi) and the way the hack was pulled off managed to stick Aave with almost $300 million in bad debt (in the form of a bunch of fake #rsETH tokens, a "liquid staking token" for #ETH that i'm only going to explain if someone actually is interested and asks in the comments)
2. as a result there's a stampede to get money out of Aave. not quite a full run on the bank bc that's not really possible w/the way Aave works, but directionally similar
3. the founder of Aave mocked #DriftProtocol for being hacked for a similar amount two weeks ago as "not defi". this complicates the solution here, which is for Aave to step in and rewrite the decentralized protocol to socialize the losses onto users.
