Lusogeek streamer update: I’ve been ill since Monday with a nasty cold; I’m currently on the mend, having used the ‘special treatment’ from the Tetrio game and, with the help of a family member, getting rid of old documents, newspapers, magazines and other unnecessary items.

Today I scanned many #oldDocuments to clean up the office. The oldest was from 1908.
The way official documents changed over the years is interesting: copied by Hand, handwritten on forms, typewriter, Whiteprint, Carbon Copies, Action Paper, Xerography, thermosensitive paper, continuous form paper. Even the old stuff was mostly A4.
Some had good layout and print, some barely decipherable in their times.
And then staples appeared from one dreaded point in time on!

@cbgenealogy my plan is to give all documents I have to the appropriate archives when I have finished using them. I found a collection of Title Deeds in a secondhand store a while back and I am looking at where they should go. #genealogy #olddocuments
