My retail booth needed signage so I went with a retro headline style using authentic early 20th century typography. Printed in carbon black on heavy paper, glued to hardboard, finished with brushed on gloss medium for a collage-like feel.

Arguably I should have used several different colours but I wanted it to contrast with the vibrant paintings rather than blend in too much.
